In these modern days, we has been used a lot of Ion-exchange membrane for the recovery of valuable metal, water purification, medical part, and separation of protein. These ion exchange membranes with high mechanical properties, ion exchange capacity and low electrical resistance are required. Our ion-exchange membrane based on a styrene-hydroxyethyl acrylate-lauryl methacrylate terpolymer was synthesized by solution polymerization various monomer weight ratio. The ion-exchange membrane was prepared by thermal crosslinking and sulfonation reaction. Then Chemical structure of membrane was investigated by FT-IR and NMR spectrometer. |
