2,1,3-Benzothiadiazole- , thieno[3,2-b]thiophene- and thiazolo[5,4-d]thiazole- Based Conducting polymers Designed for Photovoltaic cells |

In this study, donor-acceptor (D/A) polymers based on benzothiadiazole, thieno[3,2-b]thiophene and thiazolo[5,4-d]thiazole were synthesized by Stille coupling reaction. Using a spacer as thiophene and benzothiadiazole to increase the solubility of the polymers were substituted alkoxy group, in order to improve molecular weight, the polymer were polymerized. The basic properties of the synthesized polymers were measured by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, UV-Vis and GPC, and electrochemical behavior by cyclic voltammetry were analyzed. PSCs device were fabricated to examine the photovoltaic properties by blended polymer/PC71BM. |
