제목 | Selective transferring of polyelectrolyte multilayer using a new composite stamp |
초록 | Construction of ultra-thin film layers has many attractive advantages such as the formation of sensors, biological surfaces with specialized functionalities, and integrated optics. However, finding a suitable material to be used as a stamp for transferring water-soluble functional polymers onto micron and submicron-scale structures is a critical issue for successful layer coating. In this study, a new composite material has been proposed as a stamp for transferring polyelectrolytes onto a micro-patterned substrate. This material is composed of two UV-curable polymers; urethane-related polymer which is generally used as an optical adhesive and poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA). The combination of these two polymers enables the formation of a composite material with high elasticity and increased water soaking capacity. Using this new stamp, we transferred polyelectrolyte multilayers composed of poly(acrylic acid) and poly(acrylamide) onto arrays of micro-reservoirs to selectively pattern multilayers on the regions where micro-reservoirs do not exist, and selectively immobilized antibody inside the micro-reservoirs, and as a result, antibodies were successfully patterned selectively inside the micro-reservoirs, paving the way for establishing environmentally friendly biosensors. |
