AM have been used for various medical applications including wound dressing.Because of a number of growth factors such as EGF, VEGF, HGF and bFGF in AM,AM has been used as an effective wound dressing. High cost of AM limited the usage. In this study, AM was reconstructed by preparing non-woven matrix through electrospinning of solubilized AM and polymer solution.Resulting matrix showed an improved mechanical strength and residual growth factors analyzed by measuring b-FGF. The nanofiber was characterized by SEM and FT-IR. We are expecting an excellent cell attachment and proliferation rate on reconstructed AM. |
