제목 | Drug-combined PCL microspheres in drug delivery system for the improvement of bone regeneration |
초록 | Polymeric materials play a crucial role in tissue engineering for the replacement of the damaged bone tissues. In this study, poly(ε-caprolactone) were combined with drug components using activating agents. The efficacy of the drug-combined PCL microspheres were evaluated as a drug delivery carrier. The characteristics of the prepared drug-combined PCL was evaluated in terms of hydrophilicity, chemical state, and drug release ability. The cytocompatibility was examined in terms of adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation of osteoblast. Our results demonstrated that drug-combined PCL can be used for the improvement of bioactivity of biomaterials.
