Flexible, transparent and conductive polymer film has been extensively used in industries such as eletrochromics, light emitting diodes, solar cell, sensors, and antistatic coating. In this work, we have fabricated poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) film in nanometer scale through vapor-phase oxidative polymerization of 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene(EDOT) monomers on FeCl3-precoated plasma-treated PET. The resulting film showed more than 95% of transparency and the surface resistivity of 105Ω/sq ~ 107Ω/sq. Additionally, the surface roughness and morphology of PEDOT film has also been characterized by various analytical techniques such as AFM, SEM and optical microscope. |
