Synthesis of ethylenediamine-cored n-type dopant compounds |

Amine based organic compounds have recently been used as surface functionalized chemical materials of graphene oxide. They are also known to decrease the work-function of graphene as n-type dopants. In this study, we synthesized several tetraphenylethylenediamine derivatives that have four aryl groups attached on ethylenediamine. Our efforts for structure analyses and characterization of their optical and physical properties are discussed. |
