제목 High triplet energy phosphine oxide derivatives as host materials for blue phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes
초록 We have designed and synthesized a new blue phosphorescent host material based on the phosphine oxide moiety. 2-(diphenylphosphine oxide)-9,9’-spirofluorene (SPPO1) was compared with N,N’-dicarbazolyl-3,5-benzene as a blue host material for blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting devices (PHOLEDs). The triplet energy level of SPPO1 was calculated to be 2.79 eV. The SPPO1 showed much higher quantum efficiency than common mCP host material. A high quantum efficiency of 12.1 % and a current efficiency of 22.3 cd/A was obtained in the blue PHOLED with iridium(III) bis(4,6-(di-fluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,C2’) picolinate as a blue phosphorescent dopant.
