Antifouling Effect of TiO2 Nanoparticles Surface Coated with Visible-light Sensitive Photocatalytic Effect Based Fluorescence Carbon Dots |

A carbonized fluorescence nanoparticles by the acidic dehydration of catechol-q-poly (dimethyl aminoethyl methacrylate) (CA-PDMA) was synthesized for surface protection. This fluorescent catalyst system demonstrate advance the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 under visible light irradiation. The time-dependent studies of organic dyes degradation under UV and visible light irradiation was proved the incorporation between carbonized CA-FNPs and TiO2. Moreover, HeLa cell detachments from the CA-FNPs/TiO2-coated surface shows its antifouling properties in the presence of visible light. Visible light-responsive photocatalysts can enhance their efficiency and photocatalytic abilities as compared with traditional photocatalytic systems. This new fluorescence coating platform made promising tool for utilization of visible light in photocatalytic activity. |
