제목 In-vitro and in-vivo characterization of Ca-Sr-P/PLA-HAp coated Mg-Zn alloy for the orthopedic bone fixation.
초록 Most materials of the bone fixation device are used by stainless and titanium alloy. But these materials occur stress shielding problems that need to removal operation by a year. Therefore, Magnesium alloy based biodegradable bone fixation device is developed. But Mg-based material have a limitation that generates a critical amount of hydrogen gas, which can occur embolus. In this study, Ca-Sr-P/PLA-Hap coated Mg-Zn alloy based bone plate was developed for biodegrading rate control. Especially, the Microstructure and composition of Ca-Sr-P/PLA-Hap coated Mg-Zn alloy plate were evaluated by SEM, EDS, XRD, and FTIR. And, hydrogen gas generation rate and pH variance by biodegradation. Furthermore, cell viability and proliferation were evaluated by the MC3T3-E1 cell line. And In-vivo biocompatibility was performed by rabbit for a month. image and histological analysis were observed by micro-CT and H&E staining.
