Novel electro-active polymer actuator based on cross-linked sulfonated poly (ether ether ketone) blended withpolyvinylidene-trifluoroethylene |
| 초록 |
A novel electro-active polymer actuator based on cross-linked sulfonated poly (ether ether ketone) blended with polyvinylidene-trifluoroethylene was newly developed to improve the chemical and thermo-oxidative stability of the polymeric artificial muscles. The fabricated actuators were tested in terms of electrode morphology, surface conductivity and electromechanical performance such as step response, tip displacement, resonance frequency and durability. SEM and TEM revealed that more regular and fine platinum particles were formed on the surfaces of the as-prepared actuators as well as within their polymer matrix. The transverse tip displacements of the actuators of cross-linked SPEEK/PVDF-TrFE and SPEEK/PVDF-TrFE were compared under the stimuli of direct and alternating electric excitations. The present results indicate that the actuator of cross-linked SPEEK/PVDF-TrFE showed more excellent harmonic response than that of SPEEK/PVDF-TrFE. |
