제목 Electromagnetic Noise Absorption and shielding properties of Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) thin film prepared by in-situ polymerization
초록 Conducting polymers have revealed much interest recently in electromagnetic noise absorption and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. In general, the shielding efficiency by reflection increased rapidly with high EMI shielding effectiveness (SE), while shielding efficiency by absorption decreased. So, we studied electromagnetic properties to achieve conducting polymer thin films having effect of high electromagnetic Noise Absorption and extraordinarily conductivity for the aim of electromagnetic noise absorbers at the frequency of GHz range. The electromagnetic noise absorber thin film was manufactured by in-situ polymerization. PEDOT thin film was thermally treated under various conditions and those electrical conductivity, power loss and EMI SE were measured. The EMI SE and absorption and reflection of the resulting thin films were 10~15dB, 62~88% and 11~33% depending on the thermal treatment condition, respectively.
