제목 Self-Assembled Monolayers of End-Functionalized Poly(3-hexylthiophene) for Organic Thin Film Transistors
초록 End-functionalized regioregular Poly(3-hexylthiophene)s with a low polydispersity were synthesized by the catalyst-transfer polycondensation of Grignard reagents of 2-bromo-3-hexyl-5-iodothiophene using Ni-catalyst, followed by Ni-catalyzed coupling of tetrahydropyran protected 2-(2-thienyl)ethanol. After deprotection by hydrolysis, the hydroxy groups of P3HT were reacted with 3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl isocyanate. Silica substrates were coated with in the solution of the alkoxy silane end-functionalized P3HT. We studied their morphology using atomic force microscopy, and X-ray photoelectrospectroscopy. We fabricated organic thin film transistor (OTFT) with the self-assembled monolayer of P3HT.
