A study on new polymer electrolyte membranes based on sulfonated-fluorinated poly(arylene ether)s blended with chemically-modified polyvinylidene fluoride |
초록 |
Blend membranes were prepared by solvent casting method fromSDFFand chemically modified PVdF by varying their respective content ratios. Despite PVdF is mechanically strong, hydrophobic PVdF reduces the water uptake and proton conductivity. To improve water affinity and proton conductivity, PVdF is chemically-modified by means of a dehydrofluorination reaction and H2SO4 dopping. IR, DSC andTGA were utilized to characterize the properties ofSDFF/mPVdF and effects of mPVdF content on the properties of the membrane such as water uptake were analyzed. The PEMFC performances of the membranes were also evaluated by single cell test. |
