제목 Biocompatible polymer combining antibody and photosensitizer for breast cancer treatment
초록 The ability to penetrate and target cancer is condition of anticancer drugs. So, we designed biocompatible polymer combining antibody and photosensitizer (PAP). Antibody inhibits cell proliferation and suppresses proliferation with cell growth promoter receptor 2 (HER2). Photosensitizer (PS) generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) upon laser irradiation. The high reactivity of ROS causes the death of cancer cells. PS also enhence cancer tissue penetration because ROS damages extracellular matrix. We experimented with HER2 positive and negative cell lines to examine PAP toxicity to breast cancer. Consequently, specific interaction of HER2 with strong fluorescence intensity of PAP was confirmed. In addition, we have verified the ability of PAP to generate ROS. By in vivo and in vitro we identified the therapeutic effect of PAP. Our research shows that drug penetration throughout cancer tissues and efficient PAP distribution are improved and drug delivery efficiency is increased.
