pH effect onbond formationbetween chitosan and gold |

Gold nanoparticles could be applied to the treat of cancer and bio-applicable sensor. Chitosan is the material produced from deacetylation of chitin, crystal of high molecular substance. Preparation of chitosan nanoarticles has been done by using tripolyphosphate solution. Attempts to find stable chitosan nanoparticles have been done at various tripolyphosphate concentrations. When pH was indicated basic, it was so stable. Bond of chitosan-gold nanoparticles was formed by using gold method with amine group of chitosan nanoparticles. Images of synthesized chitosan-gold nanoparticles were confirmed by SEM and TEM. The bond formation between chitosan and gold was checked by UV-visble Spectroscopy. |
