In this study, two different types of silica nanoparticles are utilized to fabricate anti-reflection coatings with simple structure which have high and low refractive index layers. The high refractive index layer is fabricated by spin-coating a glass substrate with the dispersion of silica nanoparticles of which surfaces are chemically modified with UV-curable monomers. The low refractive index layer is then coated on the high refractive index layer by dipping it in the cationic and anionic polymer solutions and dispersion of mesoporous silica nanoparticles. Anti-reflection properties of the coatings with different structures are investigated using SEM, TEM, AFM and UV-vis spectrometer. |
