제목 Enhanced Piezoelectric Nanogenerators by Introducing Nanofiber-type Hydrophobic Organic Materials with Excellent Surface Matching as Electrodes
초록 Two types of alkyl chain substituted poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) derivatives are synthesized with sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) as an anionic dopant, PEDOT-C4:DS and PEDOT-C6:DS. The polymers are less doped by SDS and hydrophobic, showing similar surface properties with poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF). It demonstrated the fully uniform network due to excellent surface matching. The output power of PNG-2 & PNG-3 using PEDOT-C4:DS and PEDOT-C6:DS, respectively is more improved than the one of PNG-1 using a hydrophilic material up to 53.7%. Also, charging voltages and the brightness of LEDs are proportional to output characteristics. The PNGs demonstrate the potential as self-powered sensors such as heartbeat and human motion monitoring system.
