제목 Preparation and Characterization of Silk Sericin/Biosilica Nanocomposite Fiber
초록 Silk sericin is a natural protein from silkworm. It has a high content of serine amino acid about 30%. We found that silk sericin can synthesize spontaneously silica nanoparticle from silica precursor without any additives. In this study, we prepared silk sericin/silica nanocomposite dissolved it in LiCl/DMSO solvent and blended with PVA. The blended dope solution is made into a fiber by wet spinning method using methanol as a coagulant. The silk sericin/silica nanocomposite fiber has superior physical property than sericin/PVA blend fiber. The silk sericin/silica nanocomposite fiber was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, Transmission electron microscopy.
