In this work, CO2 adsorption behaviors of metal oxides loaded porous carbons were studied as a function of MnO amounts. The manganese oxides were doped on carbon surface of using wet method. By this way, carbon surfaces were modified by basic characteristics, in order to increase interaction between carbon surfaces and CO2 in adsorption process. X-ray powder diffraction, element analysis, and nitrogen adsorption/desorption experiments were carried out to investigate the micro-structural, surface, and textural properties of the prepared materials, respectively. The carbon dioxide adsorption performances also were evaluated via isobar experiments (TGA). From the results, it was found that the MnO affected on the CO2 capture behaviors, resulting from enhancing the basic characteristics on the carbon surfaces. |
