Synthesis and characteristics of styrene-hydroxyethyl acrylate-lauryl methacrylate ion-exchange membrane |
초록 |
Ion-exchange membranes have been used in various industries because of their superior selectivity for specific ions and wide applicability. The ion-exchange membrane is required high mechanical property, ion-exchange capacity and low electrical resistance.In this study, novel ion-exchange membranes based on a styrene-hydroxyethyl acrylate-lauryl methacrylate terpolymer were synthesized by solution polymerization. The ion-exchange membranes were prepared by thermal crosslinking and sulfonation reaction. The chemical structures of prepared membrane were investigated by FT-IR and NMR spectrometers. The basic characteristics were measured for the prepared ion-exchange membranes. |
