We synthesized novel azo-conjugated 9,9’-di-alkylated fluorene derivatives containing nitro and amide functional groups at the end of the side chain of alkylated fluorene for the purpose of making 3D-supramolecular self-assembled aggregates having reversible photo, redox and temperature-responsive properties. The newly synthesized molecules were characterized and confirmed by different spectral analyses such as 1H and 13C-NMR, FT-IR. Further, the photophysical properties were measured by UV and PL spectrometer and cis-trans isomerization and a half-life of the cis-isomer were analyzed using laser spectroscopy. Furthermore the HOMO and LUMO energy levels were observed using cyclic voltammeter. When irradiation of photo light on the molecule, it can be formed as duplex and dissociation was efficiently measured by undisturbed thermal isomerization conditions. |
