Solution-Processable Ambipolar Diketopyrrolopyrrole-Selenophene Polymer with Unprecedentedly High Hole and Electron Mobilities |
초록 |
One of most remarkable advantages of organic semiconductors over conventional inorganic semiconductors is the solution processability which is generally achieved by introducing aliphatic chains as solubilizing groups onto backbones. However, they significantly affect the molecular packing and morphology in the polymer, resulting in huge differences in the device performance. Recently, effectiveness of hybrid solubilizing chains has been reported to enhance charge transport by inducing a denser π−π stacking and a larger crystalline coherence length in an isoindigo-containing polymer. Herein, we report a solution-processable diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP) based polymer with hybrid siloxane side chains and thoroughly describe its thin-film properties and transistor characteristics. The resulting polymer exhibited unprecedentedly high hole and electron mobilities for ambipolar FETs. We have investigated the fundamental origins that enable the exceptionally high hole and electron mobilities. |
