Electrochemical properties of Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) film prepared by in situ polymerization. |
초록 |
Conducting polymers(CPs) have been regarded as promising pseudo-capacitive materials due to their fast charge-discharge kinetics, suitable morphology and fast doping-undoping process. Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT) was prepared by in situ chemical polymerization of EDOT on the substrate such as film or metal. EDOT and poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)(PVP) as a binder was dissolved in 1-butanol and Ferric p-toluene sulfonate (FTS) dissolved in 1-butanol was prepared as a oxidant solution. Mixed solutions were coated on the film or metal by spinner and then EDOT was polymerized under various conditions. PEDOT films with various transmittance and surface resistivity were obtained and we studied the relationships between ultraviolet transmittance and electrochemical properties such as cyclic voltammogram, capacitance in different electrolyte solutions and cut-off voltage range. |
