Preparation and Electrochemical Characteristics of CNFs-supramolecular oligomer DAAQ Composite Electrode |

Electrochemical supercapacitors have received a worldwide attention due to their widespread power sources in various applications. Their high power density and long cycle life make them attractive to be used as rechargeable pulse power source, particularly, in hybrid power in electrical vehicles. A new type of Supercapacitor was constructed by using carbon nanofibers(CNFs)-straight type and DAAQ(1,5-diaminoanthraquinone) oligomer. DAAQ has been introduced by us as a promising electrode material for redox supercapacitor, which exhibits high specific capacity(50-60 Ah/kg) with aqueous and non-aqueous liquid electrolytes. DAAQ was deposited on the carbon nanofibers by chemical polymerization with FeCl3 and (NH4)2S2O8 as oxidant in the 0.1M H2SO4. The improvements in capacitance(50F/g) of CNFs-DAAQ composites have been observed. |
