VO2 powder was synthesized from V2O5 and oxalic acid by hydrothermal method with and without heat-treatment. The polymorphs of vanadium dioxide were obtained by reducing V2O5 powder with oxalic acid at various conditions through hydrothermal treatment processing in stainless-lined autoclave. The size and shape of particle could be controlled through the reaction conditions such as reductant, temperature, etc. during the processing. The properties of samples were analyzed by the means of XRD, SEM, TEM, UV-Vis, DSC, and EDS. |
