제목 Autonomic self-healing of gold nanoparticles embedded hydrogel films
초록 The thin films fabricated using hydrogel particle building blocks by centrifuge-assisted layer-by-layer technique. Anionic hydrogel particles and cationic linear polymers formed stable multilayer films by ionic interaction. Gold nanoparticles were embedded into swollen hydrogel films by simple immersing method.Non-gold treated hydrogel films created microcracks that are perpendicular to the stretching direction. Gold nanoparticles embedded films revealed reduced crack formation by filler toughening effect. Nevertheless, gold nanoparticle embedded films also created microcracks under high stress. However, damages repaired by autonomic self-healing property of film based on the reversible electrostatic interaction.
