제목 Efficient Light Extraction in Polymer Light Emitting Diodes Embedded with Submicrometer Periodic StructuresInduced by Azobenzene Polymer Surface Relief Gratings
초록 In the past decade, various light extraction techniques have been researched for organic or polymeric light emitting diodes (LEDs) as well as inorganic LEDs. In this presentation, we demonstrate a cost-effective and simple methodology of the efficient polymer light emitting device fabrications by embedding submicron relief structures made from azobenzene polymer periodic architectures. For a solvent-assisted soft lithography, poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) mold was fabricated by replica molding using 1D, 2D- azobenzene polymer surface relief gratings (SRGs). We investigated the lithographical patterned surface profiles on the polymer films and the light extraction performances of the patterned PLED devices.
