Assembly of organics and polymers bearing ionic species in their structures in solution and onto solid surfaces mainly utilizes the primary inter- and intramolecular interactions of electrostatic forces together withsecondary forces such as hydrogen bondings and hydrophobic interactions.This talk presents that the adsorption/assembly phenomena of charged moleculesbecomes a basis for applications in the nanocomposite thin film patterning,the electron injection layer in polymer light-emitting diodes, and artificial photosynthetic devices. |
