Hybrid Phototransistors Based on Bulk Heterojunction Films of Polythiophene and Zinc Oxide Nanoparticle |

Recently the performance of organic optoelectronic devices, such as organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic solar cells (OSCs), and organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), has been significantly improved due to better understanding on the principles of organic semiconducting materials and devices. To date, however, organic phototransistors (OPTRs) have not been extensively studied despite the fact that OPTRs have great advantage as a lightweight and flexible large area photodetector that can be fabricated on plastic substrates. In this work we tried to fabricate hybrid phototransistors (HPTRs) with composite films of polythiophene and zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnONP) by varying the composition of ZnONP in order to investigate the effect of ZnONP contents on the performance of HPTRs. This presentation will discuss the detailed device performances and the correlation between incident light wavelength/intensity and responsivity. |
