제목 Study on variations of secondary structure due to sequential adsorption of proteins on ZnSe using ATR-FTIR
초록 Protein-protein interaction plays a crucial role in a variety of biological activities in human body. In this study, we investigated the structural change of bovine serum albumin and lysozyme when they sequentially adsorb on pre-adsorbed protein layer. The alpha-helix and beta sheet of adsorbed protein were quantified by peak analysis on amide band of IR spectra. Results demonstrated that sequential adsorption is governed not solely by electrostatic interaction but by intrinsic properties of protein molecules, such as hydrophobicity or charge distribution.
