Facile immobilization of bulky iminopyridyl Fe(II)/Co(II) complexes on non-porous silica and their activity towards ethylene polymerization |
초록 |
A facile and user friendly technique to immobilize late transition metal complexes on nonporous silica has been developed. A series of bulky bisiminopyridyl Fe(II) and Co(II) complexes were synthesized and immobilized on nonporous silica using new protocol. Among the supported iminopyridyl Fe(II) and Co(II) catalysts, former showed high activities exceeding 105 g-PE mol-metal-1 h-1 bar-1 combined with methylaluminoxane and the obtained polymer showed uniform morphology. Better catalytic activity was observed when silica surface was modified with hexamethylene disilazane. |
