A Co3O4/graphene nanosheet (GNS) composite was synthesized through a microwave irradiation. We present quick and easy method to deposit nanoscale Co3O4 on surface of graphene. The morphology and microstructure of samples were identified by scanning electron microscopy(SEM), transition electron microscopy(TEM), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and raman spectroscopy. Electrochemical properties were evaluated by cyclic voltammetry(CV). This Co3O4/GNS nanocomposites display superior capacitance performance with large reversible capacity, excellent cyclic performance, and good rate capability. GNS as buffer materials could provide more activation for nucleation of Co3O4 as well as exellent electron transfer path. In this study, an optimized configuration of synthesis was proposed. |
