Controlling the inner morphology of monodisperse core-shell microspheres via SPG membrane emulsification and solvent extraction/evaporation method |
초록 |
Inner structure of poly(ε-caprolactone)(PCL)-poly(ethyl-2-cyanoacrylate)(PE2CA) core-shell microspheres was simply controlled via SPG membrane emulsification and solvent extraction/evaporation method. The solvent extraction/evaporation rate was controlled by varying the preparation temperature and the disperse phase (DP)/continuous phase (CP) volume ratio. The high solvent extraction/evaporation rate induced the rapid precipitation of polymers. This resulted in various inner morphologies of microspheres. The inner structure of microspheres was changed from single-core to multi-core with increasing temperature. As the DP/CP ratio decreased, the inner structure of microspheres varied from multi-core to hollow and the shell of hollow microsphere was double layer composed of PCL inner layer and PE2CA outer later. The prepared core-shell microspheres were characterized by CLSM and SEM. |
