PVdF nanofiber composite with metal powders for EMI shielding |

Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and metal powders suchNi, CNT composite fibers were prepared by an electrospinning. A 3:7 mixture solution of N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc)/acetone were used to dissolve PVDF. The PVDF/metal powder ratio and electrospinning time were varied. The properties of the PVDF/metal powder composite fibers such as the electrical resistance, pore size, morphology and electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness (EMI SE) were investigated. With increased metal powder the electrical resistance and EMI shielding effect increased.However, the optimum content of metal powder existed.The polypyrrole nanofibers were also investigated.It was found that the polypyrrole(PPy) nanofiber was capable to be used for EMI shielding depends upon the content of PPy in the nanofiber and the condition of electrospining. |
