In this work, the hydrogen storage behaviors of Pt-decorated carbon nanofibers (CNFs) manufactured by electrospinning were investigated. The well-known chemical reduction method was employed for Pt decoration. The microstructure of the Pt/CNFs was characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The hydrogen storage behaviors of the Pt/CNFs were studied using a PCT apparatus at 298K and 100 bar. From the result, it was found that the as-prepared CNFs show over 1.0 wt% of hydrogen amount stored, and it even increased with increasing Pt content. |
