제목 Electrospun Nanofibers Containing Multi-wall Carbon Nanotubes using Macro-surfactants
초록 Dispersion of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) into polymer matrix is one of the most important issues. In this study, the polystyrene (PS) nanofibrs containing multi-wall carbon nanotue (MWNT) were prepared using the synthesized surfactants by eletrospinning technique in dimethyl formamide (DMF). The surfactants, poly[(styrene-co-maleic anhydride)-block-(styrene)]s (PSMAs), were synthesized by nitroxide mediated polymerization (NMP) technique and controlled as various molecular weight (MW) to investigate an effect of MW on the dispersibility of MWNT into a polymer matrix. The synthesized surfactants were characterized by 1H-NMR, FT-IR, and GPC. The morphological properties of nanofibers were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The prepared PS nanofibers containing MWNT showed good dispersion behavior into a polymer matrix and their average size was c.a. 250 nm.
