PAN-based electrospun carbon fibers (CFs) were prepared by using electrospinning method with thermal treatments. To get large specific surface area and pore volume, chemical activation was carried out with phosphoric acid and sodium carbonate as chemical agents. The surface morphology of activated CFs was observed by SEM apparatus. The BET specific surface area, total porevolume, HK micropore volume, and pore size distribution were studied with BET surface analyzer. The specific surface area and total pore volume were increased by activating CFs. |
