Interfacing chemistry is one of attractive researches in the field of nanobiosensors owing to its electrical output ability. We develop interfacing chemistry of various nanomaterials such as carbon nanomaterials, conducting polymers and metal nanomaterials. The surface modified-nanomaterials can be applied for field-effect transistor, lateral flow assay and polymerase chain reaction for chem/bio sensors. For example, we designed multifunctional linear ligands for QD-based LFA and demonstrated 10 times higher LFA kits compared to conventional malaria LFA kits. The functionalized nanomaterials allow minimizing non-specific binding, supra-stability in liquid phase and enlarged surface areas, leading to the high-performance nanobiosensors |
