ZnO thin films were prepared using the nanosized ZnO particles dispersed in organic solvent. Firstly, ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized using zinc acetate dihydrate and potassium hydroxide in methanol. Secondly, the synthesized ZnO particles were dispersed in organic medium and their stability was studied. Finally, the fabrication of ZnO thin films was carried out by spin coater using ZnO dispersions. The film thickness was controlled by changing spin speed, spin time, and drying temperature. The characterizations were performed by using FE-SEM, TEM, XRD, and surface profiler. |
