The effect of TiOx interlayer molecular weight on polymer solar cell |

We have investigated the effect of molecular weight of TiOx interlayer on polymer based photovoltaic cell. As molecular weight of TiOx is increased, higher short circuit current and fill factor have been obtained due to the stretched chain structure which enhance the electron mobilities. In addition, TiOx interlayer inserted devices showed insensitivity to the metal electrode(Al) deposition vacuum level. When Al deposited in low vacuum condition, surface morphology of electrode film is too rough so electron loss occurrs at the metal interface. However, inserted TiOx interlayer provides an electron path way so that there is no electron loss. It means that low vacuum process with less cost is possible. |
