We fabricated CdSe/P3HT hybrid solar cells. For this purpose, polystyrene-b-poly(methyl methacrylate) copolymer (PS-b-PMMA) thin film was spin-coated onto ITO coated with an hole blocking layer and nanopores aligned vertically were generated by removing PMMA with UV irradiation and washing with acetic acid. The high-density array of CdSe nanorods with a diameter of ~ 20 nm and a height of ~ 100 nm was prepared inside nanopores by electrochemical deposition of cadmium and selenium sources, followed by the removal of PS with burning at 400°C. Then, P3HT was spin-coated followed by additional coating of a hole transfer layer (PEDOT:PSS). Finally, Au was evaporated and used as an electrode. The characteristics of the prepared solar cells were discussed. |
