제목 A facial way to fabricate hollow silica and Titania microspheres using plasma-treated polystyrene spheres as sacrificial template
초록 The design and fabrication of hollow inorganic microspheres with well-defined structures has received considerable attention recently because of their potential applications in catalysis, drug delivery, controlled release, acoustic insulation, and photonic bandgap crystals. Herein, we developed a simple, low-cost and environment-benign way to generate hollow silica and titania using the plasma-treated polystyrene spheres as sacrificial template in a sol-gel process. The resulting robust hollow spheres are monodispered, and the shell thickness can be tuned depending on the amount of precursors and concentration of catalyst
