Magnetic PLGA Nanoparticles for Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer |

For diagnosis and treatment of cancer in early state, the magnetic PLGA nanoparticles composed of magnetic nanocrystals and biodegradable polymers (PLGA) were synthesized by nano-emulsion method. The magnetic nanocrystals as magnetic resonance (MR) contrast agents presented the ultrasensitivity under magnetic field. In addition, the magnetic PLGA nanoparticles have anticancer drug such as doxorubicine (DOX) that used for cancer treatment agents. Then. theses well-defined magnetic PLGA nanoparticles were conjugated with antibody for receptor mediated drug delivery. The cell affinity test and cytotoxicity test demonstrated the possibility for diagnosis and treatment of cancer. |
