제목 Destruction of EDTA by Ce(IV) in Plug Flow Reactor
초록 MEO process with Ce(IV)/Ce(III) as a mediator couple in nitric acid was adopted in this study. The main objective was to investigate ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) destruction in a continuous mode using plug-flow reactor without simultaneous Ce(IV) regeneration with electrochemical cell. Several process parameters were varied, such as, mixing procedure of organic with Ce-MEO solution; residence time of reactor; concentration and flow rate of EDTA and temperature of solution. It was shown that the higher residence time of reactor and temperature of solution, then, there was the higher the destruction efficiency.
