We report on characteristics of the IZO/Ag/IZO and IZO/Au/IZO multilayer electrode grown by LFTS system. By inserting a very thin layer of Ag or Au between two layers of amorphous IZO, we fabricated a highly flexible, low resistance, and highly transparent multilayer electrodes on a glass substrate even though they were prepared at room temperature. Due to SPR effects and the ductility of the Ag and Au layer, IZO/Ag/IZO electrode exhibited a lower sheet resistance and a higher transparency in 500~550nm wavelength than those of the IZO/Au/IZO electrode. Furthermore, the power conversion efficiency of OPVs fabricated on IZO/Ag/IZO electrode were better than those of OPVs fabricated on an IZO/Au/IZO due to the low sheet resistance and high transmittance caused by more effect SPR of Ag layer. This indicates that the IZO/Ag/IZO electrode is a promising electrode schemes for OPVs and flexible OPVs. |
