제목 High Efficient Red-Emission Hybrid Polymer Light-Emitting Diodes Using Homogeneous Blend with Analogous Moieties
초록 We demonstrate enhanced device performance by Förster energy transfer from green to red emisson in hybrid organic-inorganic polymeric light-emitting diodes (HyPLEDs) with conjugated polymer electrolyte (CPE). A large Förster transfer radius as R0 = 5.32 nm caused from the large overlap between the emission of F8BT as a host and the absorption of F8TBT as a dopant results in the efficient energy transfer. HyPLEDs using F8BT (host materials) with F8TBT concentrations of 2.0 wt. % (dopant materials) show the pure red emission (λMax = 640 nm) with CIE coordinates of (0.62, 0.38) and luminance value of 26,400 cd/m2 (at 12.8 V), luminous efficiency value of 7.14 cd/A (at 12.8 V) and power efficiency value of 1.75 lm/W (at 12.8 V). This efficiency is the highest value among completely pure red-electroluminescence (EL) polymer based light-emitting diodes (LEDs) reported so far.
