Carbazole and thiophene are important heteroaromatic compounds from the aspects of constructing functional materials for OLED materials and so on. In this study, we synthesized phosphorescent host materials based on methylthiophene to obtain high quantum efficiency and good thermal stability. Phenylcarbazole units were symmetrically and asymmetrically introduced onto 3,4-position of thiophene to get high triplet energy and good hole mobility. The chemical structure were confirmed by ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR and Mass spectroscopy. Also, the optoelectronic properties were analyzed by Cyclic voltammetry, UV-vis spectroscopy and Photoluminescent. Synthesized host materials were used as an emitting layer for the phosphorescence OLEDs(PHOLED) fabricated by themal evaporation process. Luminance, EQE, Current efficiency were measured by IVL measurement. |
