Due to concerns of energy depletion, many researchers try to find sustainable energy sources. Among lots of energy sources, solar energy has been focused for its unlimited and eco-friendly characteristics. Particularly, the organic solar cells (OSCs) have been developed for its light weight and potential to commercialization. Recently, many researchers have developed large-area OSCs for commercialization. Fabrication of large-area OSCs is not a simple problem. As the area of OSCs is increased, the resistance resulted from interfacial contact and morphological properties also increased. So, it is necessary to increase power conversion efficiency (PCE), internal conductivity and film formation have to be enhanced. The modification of buffer layer can enhance conductivity of OSCs with promote the film formation for enhancing diffusion of carriers. In this study, we fabricated large-area OSCs with buffer layer modification. As a result, the performance of large-area OSCs is enhanced. |
