제목 Preparation of mesoporous carbon-sulfur composite cathode for lithium sulfur batteries
초록 Under intense scrutiny for well over two decades, Li-S battery offers the possibility of high gravimetric capacities and theoretical energy densities ranging up to a factor of five beyond conventional Li-ion systems. Herein, we report the preparation and characterization of mesoporous conductive carbon CMK-3, the most well-known member of the mesoporous carbon family and its composite with sulfur. The CMK-3/sulfur composite was prepared a simple melt-diffusion strategy. A 3:7 weight ratio mixture of CMK-3 and sulfur was heated just above the melting point of sulfur, where the viscosity is lowest. The melt is imbided into the channels by capillary forces.
